It says it's a K&N but also from Ford Racing. Is it as good as the one I could buy from Advance Auto Parts? What's different about this one?

Interesting.. Don't buy a K&N panel filter if you're looking for more performance. Get a MAF adapter and K&N open element cone filter. The difference in this seems to be just the color, but K&N is the best, don't mistaken other reusables as them.

How do you guys go about finding those adapters on eBay? They seem pretty rare. Oh, and while I'm thinking about it (sorry if it seems off topic) what do you guys think about those Fram Airhogs? I would still go with K&N but I keep seeing those other ones.

I'd trust K&N over Airhog. The Fram filters don't do so well in tests, maybe the same for the filters.
