5w30 Mobil 1 synthetic. I have also used the Quaker State Q synthetic, but I think Mobil 1 is a little better, and, here in the U.S., it's only $22 for 5 quarts @ Walmart.

ive used casrol magnetec since i bought it in 2008

10w30 synthetic in my explorer.

sometimes i use dyno... but im liking the synthetic because it makes me feel better about going longer between changes (10k)

Genuine Ford 5w/30 is £12.65 for 5 litres at my local dealer. [Furrows Telford]

With a genuine filter and the oil it cost me less than £25!!!!

I do less than 5000 miles a year and money is tight!!

Kev.

I pay kwikfit £26.50 for an oil and filter change (synthetic oil) and no mess (or greif from the wife for mess on the drive)

I'm bloody sure I just saw a post that suggested Jim Casey paid for somebody else to do something! Must be a mistake - can't imagine anybody else getting a look in there!

Anyway, don't know what was in previously but Asda 5W30 completely cured my chain noises. At £14 for 5L plus a filter from ebay (yes, it's a branded one - Motaquip), you might imagine I'm well pleased!

Amsoil Signature Series 0w30 full synthetic and Ea filter. Once a year.
