I need to replace these in my explorer this weekend.. but Im not sure what they are called. My guess is they are Rear Shackles?.. They are under my rear bumper connected to my frame? and my leaf springs.

heres the pictures & any help is greatly appreciated..

Also if anyone has a tutorial on how to replace these or any information/links for this repair please add it in...

they are pretty straight forward to remove and replace, you unbolt 2 bolts, pull bolt and add new shackle, replace bolts. The bolt side does have a welded stop on it so don't waste time trying to wrench that end. A bottle jack will help if you have to straighten the leaf spring to get the new holes to line up.

word, thanks.. I want to even lower the ex.. I read up and saw that the warrior shackles acutally lift the expo.. Any other or even an OEM brand that would work to lower/keep it stock height because i plan on dropping it with TTwist and Lift/Low blocks

If you're lowering it using blocks, why are you trying to remove the shackles?? I'm confused...

im replacing the shackles because they're rusted out and corroded... Im also sandblasting/ hand sanding the entire undercarriage and priming it.. I dont want to rubberize it because if there is any corrosion under the rubberizer then iw ont be able to see it...
