I drive a 93 Navajo and just picked up a 95 sport. What parts should I keep? The body on the 95 is very rusty and I am going to take what I can.I know the engine and rear end, but what else?

Is it a 2nd gen 95 or 1st gen 95? Have seen both in 95's.

Ive seen a few floating around on craigslist before

You can use the door panels with little modifications, the seats, the shorty console if it has one. Could tear the front axle and t-case out and sell for profit its 4wd.

Wow, never seen them.

what kind of modifications can you elaborate? any pics

I was going todo the same on my 92 (But never found tan panels at the Junkyard)

I know in your door panels there is a screw at the top, by where the mirror is, and in the 2nd gens, theres just one of the christmas tree pins, and I believe you had to drill a hole for the pin. Also, from what I was told, the window switches needed to be spliced in or something. Glen will help you out some more im sure.

Anyone tryed to put a cd changer out of a newer one in? Also my navajo has a sunroof but the 95 has a electric one think i could put it in without to much trouble? Roof looks different to me.I think headliner may fit to bad its the wrong color but i think i can dye it black.

- rear axle if it's the same gear ratio will give you rear disc brakes
- If it's the same 4.0 OHV valve engine, the 95 heads will bolt onto your 93 and give you a bit of a bump in compression
- Manual or automatic transmission? I think the auto would be an upgrade over the A4LD

I was under the impression that the tranny would not work because of the wires?I will take the motor and rear end. Transfer case the same?

The rear disc brakes are a direct swap onto your axle.
The auto trans is a 4r55e, not a direct bolt in swap.
Swapping the heads will give you higher compression, but you will have to run higher octane fuel.
The t-case is a 44-05 you have a 13-54, not a direct swap.

All the electronics notwithstanding, the transmissions and transfer cases have the same bolt patterns don't they?

Yes they will bolt up but not work.

Wouldn't it be easier to swap the whole axle?

And I didn't know about the octane requirements for using 95 model heads.

However I thought 95tm heads were better than the 90/93's?

Another thought is can't you swap the 95 motor? Obviously the computer and wiring would be needed. But since it's an OBD 1 setup most of the existing wires should match? yes/no/maybe.... Just speculating here

Only if its the right gear ratio. Swapping just the brakes is the best option if the ratios are different.
