Hey everyone,

I just bought a new set of Yokohama Geolanders At-s (255\65\R16).

As you can see i bumped up from the stock tire size to what i thought was a better size.

Anyway, what I'm wondering is what do you think i should air down to to go on

Mud, *sand*, Loose rocks?

Thanks so much!

I dont air down at all but I also only run about 30 in them instead of 35 that it calls for.

15 lbs is usually low enough to have some positive effect and still be "safe".
Assuming you have a way to air back up!
What is your rim width?

I'm only familiar with offroading on sand. But on the beach I air down to 15 psi and it seems to make a noticeable difference.

My Rim width is 8.5, there mounted on aftermarket American Racing Rims, stock diameter though, just made them black.

Theres the new rims, but with my crappy old tires, im so happy there gone.

Airing down all depends on the tire. For my BFG AT KOs I air down to 12-14psi when running the beach (they have large Air compressor stations so airing backup is very quick. I generally try to avoid airing down when going off-road unless I can't get traction any other way (airing backup with my portable Air compressor takes a good 15-20 minutes so airing down is the last thing I want to do).
