What should i do?

Well, as some of you may know, i totaled my Ex. My question for you guys is what i should do with it.

1. I got an offer of $500 for it for parts.

2. It still runs fine, so a guy from class told me to sell the truck and use the motor to put into a Fox body Mustang or newer.

3. I had plans on fixing it.

What do you guys think?

4. Fixing the 4.0 then put the 5.0 into the XLT and sell parts off of the Eddie.

It still drives like a Caddy! well not exactly but it still runs fine.

It runs great, with the exception that the fan damn near went thru the radiator and all that. It still runs like it did the day i got it.

f I were you I would keep it. Make it a little project.

Thats what i was planning on doing. I should have shop next month in class, so im going to try to pull what i can and fix it. I really like it.

What i think im going to do because i utterly hate my XLT. I think im going to fix the timing chain issue in it, fix it up a bit adn then resell it.Then fix up the EB and use that.

Ok, so heres the truck running. The guy whos in it is trying to do a burnout. Something you cant do in a AWD truck. But as you can hear (sorry for it being dark) it still runs fine. I think i have a vacuum leak or something tho.

yea, i dont think so. I need them for whenever i put the interior back together. I do have one thats held together with duct tape if you want that one lol.

The guy who offered me the $500 for my totaled Ex just added in that he would fix the death rattle in my other Ex. What do you guys think? All he wants it for is to put the 5.0 into his ranger. It runs perfect and has 165k miles on it. I like it and if i do sell it i want to put the 5.0 in the XLT.

What do you guys think i should do?

he probably wants the 5.0 so talk to him about it but if i were you i'd go the project route.
i found a 1990 ranger (wanted an X) to use as my offroad project its gonna be blood and sweat hopefully no tears
school is gonna slow me down a little bit but maybe thats a good thing i'll have more planning time as long as my friend doesn't wreck it :roll: (hes going in half on cost)

But see, i brought my nova down here to work on (avatar). I was going to do an engine swap, rear end swap, maybe tub it and repaint it.

Who knows, i might be able to do that and fix the Ex if i can get enough money and work hard enough at it.

and who knows, i might be able to sell him just the 5.0 (he wants the whole truck) and then put one of my extra 350 (or 355) SB in its place. Would have to take the AWD out unless i can get a '75 GM motor to bolt up to a second gen Ford TC. Would make an interesting project tho, and id have room to add things such as a blower or maybe route a turbo.
