What should I offer for a t-boned 94

I met a guy that has a 94 XLT 4.0 that was crushed on the drivers side. it also has what he thinks is a tappet noise and he converted it to 2wd. I have no idea what it's worth. I just want a few parts from it like the seats and power options for the doors. I was thining of offering $200 or so because he said he wants it out of his drive.
What do you guys think?

Offer him 50, and you will haul it away

LOL @ Bill. I was thinking more of a case of beer and a solid hand shake. Strip it and sell the body off for scrap metal.

The junk yard will give him $50- $75 for the scrap metal & they will take it. Offer him the same then work from there. Take your parts then YOU can call the junk yard & get $50 back.

Look at it this way, if you have the time, and the space, get it, strip it, hood, fenders, door, glass, engine, tranny and rear diff, all the electronics inc the ecm and wireing harnesses, all the interior componants, do not cut wires.
When you have all in hand that can be used aftermarket, you will have many saleable items.
The rest as scrap metal brings 2 cents per lb.
Would almost bet you will end up with a couple grand in sellable parts

I like your idea spindlecone. That's pretty much what I had planned. I live in an apartment with lots of covered parking. But my storage shed is across town. So storage of the parts is an issue.
I don't think the guy will go for under $100. He didn't say anything specific at all, just a feeling.
Can I really get the thing for $100? Granted I haven't seen it first hand, I wanted to get more info before I went over there.
