I want to upgrade to Interco Super swampers someday, and I'm not sure what size to get. Should I get the 34-10.50x15's or the 36-12.50x15's? I'm just not sure.
The 36's seem too big, and the 34's seem too narrow. I'm just up in the air right now. I know also that the 33" swampers are like 1" taller than the 33" all terrains from BFG. Maybe I should just go with some 33's? I'm just so confused.
I would really like MTR's, but they are really expensive. What do you guys think?

Thanks.

do you use your ex for a daily driver? if so I would shy away from getting the swampers because of the short life span. if it's not a DD I would get the 33". with the added traction, stock axles, and lockers anything bigger might do some damage to your drivetrain while off roading.

I know a lot of people run 35's, but yeah, I guess they do have some problems with stuff getting worn out early. If I got some swampers, I think I would just use them as off road tires. I'd use my All Terrains as Daily drivers.

All I have to say is "Bigger is Better."

I've been running nothing less then 35s for roughly 3-4 years on my Explorer. All you have to do is take care of it. I run right now 36x12.50 TSL Radials for the street with no sway bars. I can run with everything else out on the road just fine. Just my .02 cause if I remember right I was one of the first to do 36" tires around here.

Showoff! Does your ego actually fit through the driver's door? :D

Interco makes so many size you could just about pick anything you want. The new SSR's are street friendly compared to it's brothers and sisters. If you drive a lot of miles on the street and plan on only running one tire, then the MTRs would be a wise investment. They could last twice as long or more than the swamper. This is where your money pays for itself.

Hey I can remember when everyone told me "Good Luck!!!......No way!!!.....You won't make it out of the drive way!!!" Look at me know!!!!:p

Just tryin to help a brother out!!!!;)

Yeah, I heard the same thing about designing a SAS with leafs by myself.

so, the TTB handles the 36's pretty well then? I think without fiberglass, I would have to trim a lot.

With my old stock fenders I had to trim maybe an inch if that. Very little!!!

I wouldn't say the TTB handles them well but if you take care of your bearings and keep everything greased up it'll take the abuse. I also run an ARB locker up front so that should say something about the TTB.
