what size tire?

i have a 2000 Sport and it came with the 16 inch rims. WHat is the biggest tire I can run without problems? I think it is a 16 x 7 . The tires now are 255/70r16

i think 265/75/r16 it should be the metric equivalent to 31/10.5

You can run 265x75x16 with a slight amount of trimming from the back of the fender wells. If you don't want to trim I believe you can only go up to 265x70x16. Run a search on it and you should be able to find it easily. My vote is buy some cheap 15" steel wheels and put 31's on them.
