What speaker size fits best in my 02 Explorer sport as direct replacement?

My front door speakers are needing replaced, and I’m just wanting to get a direct fit, factory replacement, as I have the factory single cd/cassette head unit. I don’t know the size of the speakers, and just want to buy and install a low cost set. Probably from Walmart. What size do I need for it to fit right in there without altering the door panel?

They are 6X8 but 5X7 are the same i am currently running these in my 99 explorer and they are really good for the price

in my 4dr iirc it was 6x8. i replaced mine with kicker CS series. another option is JY for the factory speakers. or for example in my FS thread i think i still have the 4 out of my rig fir sale

actually, acording to Quick Reference For Audio Forum
they are 5.5x7.5. but 6x8 was drect fit

I wanna say like 20 watts my Bluetooth aftermarket head unit sounds very good with those speakers
And I'm a pretty picky guy but those speakers sound punchy

Nice i have some from crunch audio at 250watts a pair they sound decent as well

Now I can' say my son has purchased a lot nicer speakers and these sound just as good and loud as the aftermarket speakers some of the examples you gave earlier are very close to what he has bought they state 200 watts but they are not

RMS Means root meanS square it's the continuous power rating you'll notice that the continuous duty cycle rating is way different than peak power which is what they advertise

I found a 96X that has the premium audio in a scrapyard if it has jbl ill pick them up

Bose are decent imo but man those jbls in the lincolns and Xs are amazing
