i want to get rid of these stock tires. i have a 98 EB 4x4. stock tires come out to a 30". can i go 31 on stock setup? or can i do 32s with a 2" TT and shackle lift?
i want aggressive looking, decent off road and good for street driving. is there any tire that fits all 3 of these categories?

please help me out, i wanna order thses before the weekend.

31's if you want to be absolutely sure you wont rub. 32's if you dont mind trimming a little, maybe you wont have to but you might, thats with the 2" of lift. BFG all terrain.

i guess i will ***** my truck out for your viewing pleasure, mine is a 96 with a tt and shackles and 31's no rubbing problems

:D

i can fit 31s with no lift though right? thats only an inch bigger than stock.

The 31's are a much bigger than you think. 1 inch is much higher, much wider and meaner looking tire for your EX. BFG All Terrain T/A KO.

i say the bfg all terrain ATs, or the bridgestone dueler revo ATs that i have. they look awesome and perform well....i have pics in my sig

What ever size you decide...I vote BFG AT's all the way. Best bang for your buck IMO :D Never blown a BFG and tread on those babies last 4-EVA :bounce:

but can i fit a 31 bfg a/t on my stock height? ive heard you can on this site, but then ive heard otherwise too.

YES you can fit 31's at stock height, you may have very very minor rubbing issues if any at all ;)

:D i RAN 30" bfg a/t's for about a year. They were an awseome tire. They wore very, very well, and always provided good traction on all surfaces. On road they felt very well behaved. Their biggest drawback was the way they would clog up with really sticky mud or wet snow.

I recently jumped to a 33" BFG M/T. They too have been a great tire. Off road traction is amazing, and they don't clog up easily. Not to mention they don't pick up and carry all the gravel....tick,tick,tick
On road manners are not nearly as nice as the a/t's, but not too bad. They have a tendency to wander a bit at low speeds, and do vibrate slightly at higher speeds. Surprisingly though they really aren't that much louder than the a/t's if you ignore the under 5 mph slapping of the lugs on pavement.

Here's a comparison pic for you
