What to clean oil pickup screen with

what should i clean the oil pickp screen with, i am gonna drop the pan to mount my oil temp sender and i figure i would clean teh oil pickup screen when i am down there. should i just go with carb cleaner or is there something better

Mineral spirits or kerosene with a stiff brush works good .. if it will come out it will do better .. usually held in by 2 bolts i think
