I have a nice 1991 EB 4WD that I want to keep but which needed a few parts. I recently bought a 1993 EB 4WD because I needed the transmission and I liked the wheels and hwy. tires. The 1993 has a loud rod knock.
Things I'm planning on pulling off the 1993 to keep but don't (yet) need:
cylinder heads (both)
alternator
elect. seats and wire harness
entire rear end (LSD; destined for the 1991 when I get time)
rear door support lifts (both)
transfer case (already off)
starter (already off)
Besides the above parts that I want or need, what should I keep just in case?
drive shafts? (already off)
any of the air conditioning system?
the inner door handles?
calipers?
rotors?
rear drums?
radiator?
Anything else fail very often?
I will eventually be parting out the 1993 and some items from the 1991 (perfect non-elect. seats, center console (one cup style), and both front and rear bumpers) but not for about two months; in other words, if you ask about a part for sale now this is way too early and I will forget long before I start selling parts.
