what trans fluid..

do i use in an 01 w/5spd manual trans???
the owners manual was stolen during burglary - but the couldn't start the truck (YEA FORD)..
some say 90 some say atf...

Regular Mercon ATF (not Mercon V). Transfer case takes the same. I put Mobil 1 ATF in my t-case and the manual tranny in my son's 2000 Mustang which calls for Mercon also.
