I was wondering what type of paint should I use for different objects and where I can find it (unless it's just regular paint).

Anyway, I'm looking to paint my axle and undercarraige, then my calipers, which I would think would need special heat resistant paint.

I've never thought of this before, so sorry if it is a stupid question.:D

Axles shouldn't matter what you use... and I know on my drums, i used regular old rustolium and it held up... Calipers would probably need a heat temp paint

No stupid questions here.

Yes with caliapars you will need a special paint.
Eastwoods has some. I have ordered a bunch of stuff from Eastwoods and have been real happy, but I can not totally vouch for their calipar paint.

The rest, as with any thing will depend on your desired results.
Rustoleum fits well in the catagory of good enough. Not show quality, but not ugly. Good enough though.

i want to paint my frame behind the wheels in the back where the frames visible. and the hard plastic that comes down to the frame. will the rustolium work for that pretty good? and were you talking about the spray cans or a gun? thanks

cans should be fine......

one more question. if i lighty sand it not to bare metal should i primer it first or just paint it.
