what type of plastic are door panels?

does anyone know what type of plastic door panels are usually made out of ? im trying to plastic weld a door panel and a quarter panel on my blazer but need to know if its like abs plastic or what thanks for the help !

If you are talking about the '94 that you have listed then it should be ABS. They were molded in " similar shades " and then painted to match the needed color. Door panels after '95 are molded to color in a polypro material. As far as welding it goes.......I'd try to weld it from the back to get the crack closed. Then you can try to " fill " the front with either a material that will not show or prime and paint over the seam. Let me know how it works out.
