I currently have 31" tires on my car and it looks good but I want it to be higher. So I was thinking about doing a Spring Over Axle swap. How much lift does this give the rear end? What would I have to do to the front to make it match? But if I did do this, how would it look with just 31" tires on it? I just got them so I am not ready to get new tires quite yet I am just looking at possibilities. If you have a picture of just a SOA with 31s, could you post it so i can see? If i dont do this i am going to just do shackles and tt but I didnt know how it would look a little bit higher than that. I have a 1997 Ford Explorer 2wd 4dr. Thanks for your help.

oh yea about 5"-6" for SOA rear

and then you can lift your front with 3" spindles since your 2wd like me and and Torsion Twist also for 2" will give you 5" up front

yea i have 31s with no lift on it right now. I would just like it to be higher but if it gives that much of lift than i dont think i will do it. i will just wait til i get bigger tires. Thanks for your reply.

no prob

yea i guess it would look "goofy" with 31s. :p: I am going to just wait til i decide to get bigger tires. I guess i am going to just to a shackle and tt lift. just to give it that little bit more lift. Thanks for all of yalls help. :D
