on saturday i move off to college - therefore most projects on the truck must stop due to finances/time for the next 4 years. Ive had this truck for 3 years now and figured id upload pics to show what shes turned into! she started bone stock with grocery getter written all over her - but im pretty happy with what ive accomplished with her thus far! let me know what you guys think and post any comments/questions
here she is stock - only 84000 miles on it
here she is now! tuperware removed, bottom half of the body painted in truck bed liner, 31x10.5 cooper mudd terrains, safari rack up top, tt/shackle, and the custom bumper
here is the front end. its a bumper i made and believe it or not that lil $50 3000lb winch will pull you out of ALOT! the lights are 100watts on the side, 55s on the top roof rack and bottom of the bumper. theres also four fishing rod holders mounted on the bumper (convenient when trucks full of gear and kayaks are up top)
heres the rear. lots of decals and stickers - also welded tow hooks to the bumper (attached to the mounts - not just the bumper itself) and put a bottle opener on the bumper. the lil 55watt on the hitch is wired to come on with the back up lights.
heres the inside - installed smittybilt xrc seats and pulled out all the carpet and truck bed lined the floor. i love these seats and would highly recomend the truck bed linered floor!!! so much easier to keep clean. i also replaced the center console with an old ammo can. and yes - thats a trucker ball on the steering wheel
heres the bass. not much, but its enough for me. built a custom enclosure in the back right of the truck so i could still have cargo space.i also have blue LEDs in all four corners of the truck that pulse with the bass - looks awesome at night!
heres the underside. swapped in four door leaf springs (who the heck decided to put a lil mono leaf on the sports???) and i also swapped rear ends for one with 3.73LS (much better than stock 3.23 open). if you look to the right you can also see the trush muffler i welded in
and heres just a picture of the truck pulling my boat outa the water. trick i learned is too chock the tires while on the ramp - makes coming off the clutch much easier!(boats another project... a 1954 lonestar alluminum thats slowly getting restored)

did you make that bumper yourself? Im heading off to college to this fall... no explorer mods till next summer... NO!!
