I have a choice to make and i need some opinions. I have a chance to get either 98 leather seats which are just the normal ones, or i can get 1998 Limited seats with heat and stuff. What would you get. I like the limited seats because they have a better headrest and the heat feature but it has limited on the seat back and the normal ones don't. I can't make up my mind. Would limited seats in a XLT look stupid? thanks

I wouldn't worry about it saying "limited" on your seat and your truck not actually being a limited. It's not like a type R sticker or anything. Will a seat with heaters plug right in to your current setup or would you have to make a lot of mods? I'd say get whatever one you want. It's your throne!

I wouldn't care if they said "Limited." They are damn comfortable with that headrest. :bounce:

The only way I would opt for the normal leather seats would be if the Limited seats don't color match your interior. That would look terrible.

Get the limited's! I bought some 97 EB leathers because my truck is origianlly a EB, but they have the erferated leather. I keep them soaked in good leather treatment and it helps, but if I could have my $$$ back and do it over again I would get the Limiteds without the perferated leather, they will last longer and the heaters justmakeit that much easier of a decision.....

Either way unless you already have power for your current seats you are going to have to run new power wires and a fuse for them. I made the mistake of just hooking my 97 seats up to my 88 air lumbar power wires, works okay but they are slow because they dont get enough juice, now I have to go back and re-do it.....

I don't know if i have to do any wiring. The seats i have now are both 6 way pwr. I still don't know what i want.

I'll decide for you. If the limiteds match perfectly, GET THEM. You're welcome. :)

Alright, i'll get the Limiteds thanks for the help i'll go call him now.
