1995 Eddie
Hey Gang. I have a 1995 Eddie, I know this truck and the Limited with the message center has a Lamp Out Module. I was wondering what year has the module. I have looked at the 1998 1999 and 2000 models with the message center. I tore out the console to locate the module and there wasnt one. Not like my 95 where its mounted on the right side under the message center.

I need to get a new one as well Id stoke up on them and help any one of yous out that need em. We have some pretty cool scrap yards arounf here that offer 50.00 bucks all you can carry out. I just need to locate these modules in the eddie and limited. perhaps im looking in the wrong place.

Cheers.
:salute:

1997 has it.
From the 98 service manual dvd:
The message center lamp out warning feature has been deleted for 1998 Explorer vehicles. The lamp outage module (LOM) will remain installed in early production vehicles but have no warning outputs to the message center. On previous vehicles, the LOM was wired in series with the stoplamps, rear lamps and low beam headlamps.

Early production 1998 Explorer vehicles will have a unique LOM located in the floor console with no function except to act as a jumper. As a running change, late production Explorer vehicles will have the LOM deleted
