What years did the 5.0 come in after 19 99 on?

I have a 99 5.0 Explorer that I am currently redoin and I'm from Wv and it has the Typical Wv Salty road rust Issues and I'm wondering what can I or Which Other Ranger, Sport Trac, or Exploroer Sport that I can transfer my 99 stuff into . I'd Like to find a Rust Free Project to start with with a Bad engine or tranny,I have the Drive Line Covered Thanks Wayno

96-98 was the GT40 heads, 99-01 GT40-P heads... that's all.

I have seen many other people convert the pre -06 Sport tracs, sports, and Rangers using a 96-01 drivetrain. You should easily be able to do a search for it. It all comes done to if you want a 4 door truck, 2 door truck, or a 2 door SUV.

Don't forget that the 5.0 was available in the 'Mounties' every year through 2001.
