whats the un-used harness behind my stereo bezel?

Its clipped to the back of the bezel on the left side above the cigarette lighter. Its in the place where the 95's have the 4WD Off/High/Low switch. Is there any way that this is the harness for that and I could use it if I bought a bezel/switch from a 95? Ha! Wishful thinking I know. Thats the one thing I miss from my 95.

A picture would probably get you an answer. There could be a lot of different harnesses back there.

It's for the 4WD switch. Even my 99 2WD has the harness there, that just clips into the bezel to hold it in place.

I'd doubt you can do anything with it.

I kinda figured as much. Sorry for no pic guys. Just assumed everyone else had seen it and wondered the same thing.

That is the 4WD switch wiring, almost all of the 4WD wiring is in the truck. Many people have swapped to a big 4WD transfer case, the BW4406. You can use the electric shift version, but you have to add the missing two wires, plus the other 4WD parts.
