'01 EB AWD 5.0
The metal tube that feeds coolant to the intake on a 5.0; what is the name of this? Apparently mine has rusted/rotted away and is leaking pretty bad. Mechanic says the part is $110 from the dealer, want to make sure I'm not getting hosed.

I think it feeds or returns coolant to/from the heater core. Have you tried "heater tube, pipe, tube"? I'll bet swhawaii knows what it's called and probably has a link to it

yeah your talking about the pipes behind the rear of the engine that the hoses from the heater core go to? I'd have to pop the hood again, but curious what your mechanic is charging for labor, I remember when I replaced all my hoses those looked like a b!tch to get to/fix.
