Does anyone know what this part is?
The sensor thing behind my oil dip stick.

sorry if i sound dumb but what does that stand for? one of the hoses broke off of it and im afraid to drive very far with it like that.

Sorry about that- it's the Differential Pressure Feedback EGR sensor...

You can get them at any auto parts store, but the best ones that will last are the black plastic ones like the stock Motorcraft part you have... If it's bad, you'll get a bad idle sometimes or sometimes a lean condition. I'd worry more about a hose being unhooked, as the hot gases can melt stuff.
