Well, all posts about how difficult is to get loose the bolts holding the wheel hub to the knuckle are 100% correct. I changed the wheel hub in the passenger side and it was tough to get those bolts loose but after 4 hours I was done with the replecement.
On the driver side one of the bolts snapped. The threaded part stayed inside holding the old wheel hub ( i could not get to replaced it because of the bolt)
pretty good.
Now my questions are:
Would I have an issue driving without one bolt head. As I said before the threaded part stayed in holding the hub agaist the knuckle pretty good.
How difficult is to replace the knuckle and the hub if they are bolted together. I do not think I can drill the bolt out, no room to work with a bit.
Where can I get a wheel knuckle and cost.
How much a mechanic can charge me in labor as I would bring the parts if I decide to throw the towel due to complexity.
