Wheel Offset Questions

I am trying to put on the 17x7.5 explorer wheels off of the eddie bauer but someone on here told me that is has a different backspacing then my 96 and wont fit. Then i emailed the place selling them to ask if they would fit and they said it would be fine(naturally). Im just wondering if someone not trying to snake my wad knows for sure.

ps if anyone has a set of factory alloys either 16" or 17" they are trying to get rid of pm me.

you need to know what year truck they came off. If they came off the newer explorers...then you may have issues

yeah they are off of the 3rd generation explorer, will those not fit on gen 2's at all
