Burn first - Gotta tell ya... you're putting an Ex ahead of family. No es bueno. You don't want the Carfax report, which is bueno to have. Not good moves.

Okay, the fun part! Tires, yes; spacers, no. You can get a great set of aggressive tires that don't require spacers. What's your budget for tires? And I got a bunch of extra things that can "destock" the Ex. What's your sound system like?

One more thing, being a teen, you need parents' permission before buy or accept anything from strange, shadowy online people :)

There arent any strange, shadowy peolpe here.... or are there:shifty_ey

There are many...

Always looking out for the teens... :) Parents gotta know. My son is almost 18, no transactions w/o my permission.

If your not willing to pay for a carfax, you should not even think about modifying your truck. It could be the best $20 ever spent!

And at $8/hr, don't waste your money on mods, your gonna want to do better things with your hard earned dough. Put it in your piggy bank, cause if you blow a tranny or need major engine work, your gonna need it, cause an ex with big fat rubber and spacers will still look like crap sitting in your driveway cause you can't afford repairs. Remember, your truck is the same age as you are. That means it was built when you were just a sparkle in your mom's eye's.

Remember, how many people on here with pimped out trucks are 17 and work as a delivery driver? Save your cash, you still have a chance to look cool when your 27 !

X2 I agree I just turned 21 and I've spent literally every paycheck and then some on my truck and now wish I would have saved at least something cuz now I'm stuck with this as a daily driver and every bit of money I try and save goes back into the truck cuz something broke again. Also your job relies on you having dependable transportation so dont go blowing your whole paycheck on bigger tires becasue if you wind up blowing your tranny you will be SOL for real.

To add further, picture yourself sitting down with all the cash you need to mod your truck.

Can you honestly say that you want to spend what you took so long to save just to look good for other people?

Is there nothing more important that you want to spend it on? Like something to further you in life?

And when you move in with the g/f, if times get tough and you live on kraft dinner (I've been there), and you spend your cash on making your truck look good, start making your truck comfy to sleep in.

Take this as advice from someone who is in a career making a decent wage.....I am not flaming you. I just got a ranger 6 months ago. I would love to lift that baby 8+inches. But in the end, I settled for the biggest tires I can get without lifting (30's), and I just dropped over a grand into preventive maitenence (all new fluids, plugs, etc...), only maintenece as it required no repairs. I came to this decision after getting the cash to buy the 8" kit. I sat there looking at my bank account online, and took a list of all the things I need and what I want. In the end, I said screw the lift - and it was hard, cause I had it all planned out. It dissappointed me alot, but it was a smart decision. I got it out of my mind and moved on.

And I own a 2003, yours in a 1991. Expect to put a bit more money into it if you want it to last.

I have a sony XPlod CD deck, with matching sony xplod full-range speakers all around and an Eclipse 12' sub w/ matching amp/box.
