any threads on wheel spacers,I would like to hear what works, and see photos. I have a 2004 XLT Sport Trac with Shackle and TT aftermarket wheels 16x8.
I'm running 1.25" in the rear. Make sure if you do use them to get hubcentric adapter style and ones that cover the entire stock threads. Sorry I don't have any pics of them right now.
Here's some pictures of mine back when I had 285/75/16's, 1.5" spacers, 1.25" TT, lift shackles and 3" body lift. I would also recommend only 1.25" adapters, mine weren't hub centric and I never had a problem with them (just need to tightlen each lug loosely to get the wheels centered then completely tighten them down).
Midnight Rebel 07 I like that trailer I actually have a bed and plan on making one to look like the bed on my trac to carry extra gear. Sorry OP I can't speak on spacers never had any luck with them.
I know a lot of people run spacers in the rear. Few like running them in the front, putting that weight further from the center of the vehicle will wear components down fast. I'm sure like a half inch spacer or something wouldn't hurt bad tho.
You need spacers/adapters that bolt onto the factory stubs. If you use just spacer shims you run the huge change of either your studs shearing off and or your wheels falling off.
