Hey! New here. Just a quick question. My son has a '91 Explorer. He's always looking on craigslist for wheels and or tires. I know that the wheels off of a Jeep Wrangler will bolt on his EX. My question is will they work properly?

when changing wheel type to non-oem you need to check that the diameter of the hub. If its too large there are adapters available. Also need to check the offset. This can cause the calipers to contact wheel or stick out so far as to contact body.

Ditto, I have seen jeeps with ford wheels on them but never the other way around. Thats not to say it has not been done though.
