ok, I dont think i will bring my Hilift. It bounces around in the back (no roof basket) Also, I am not camping so i wont even need a tent I am however bringing a friend to ride along if thats cool. (he's and ex heeper, so maybe we can show him some stuff)

hey lets say use CB channel 25 to contact us at the meeting times. That way if you a are running a touch late or early you can contact one of us. I will leav my CB on for most the weekend. Contact me by the handle Nissanboy, or Exploderpilot. I respond to both.

Well i have been there. But in general if you see some offroading in NC and dont recognize it as Croatan Ntl Forrest (mud), URE (reddish rocky), Tellico (big rocks and wet), and Carolina Beach (a beach) it is illegal.

Technically private property. I guess it's only illegal if CP&L complains about it. Most of the time people are left alone. The rest of the trail was not like the WRONG entrance that I took in. But I agree, some people go hog wild, and mess it up for everone else ... eventually.

Well, you're right. So, I guess if we ASKED CP&L if it was OK, THEN we'd be fine. It works the same as for moutain biking. There are some great trails around, but almost NONE that are really legal, on public land. If they give you permission, then they are liable. If they give you a ticket, then well, they could. But if they ignore it, then everyone stays pretty happy. I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for driving under the power lines though. On second thought, just 'cause CP&L gets to put their lines there doesn't mean that it is their land, does it? Anyway, doesn't really matter. Back to more important discussions, like wheelin' where it's definitely legal.

Chad I will call you on your cell Friday morning. I should be able to get out of here pretty early. Once I get close, I will call you again to confirm the meeting spot and get directions. Also, will the camping be free? I just need to know if bringing cash is necessary

Camp is free and wheeling is $5 a day or $30 a season pass. 7:40 sounds good to me where are you thinking about meeting at? Just let me know and I can prolly find it.

i all about free camping... im thinking primitive group camp area, or on the side of a easy trail woudl be best. We can decide when we meet where to set up camp.

My brother is comming. He will be there around 7 friday night. I am not sure where he is camping. He said he will meet at Eldarado's at 9 Sat. morning. Hope everyone has everything ready to go. SLravene where do you want to meet Sat morning?

Yea I got map quest as well, as long as I can get to 109 I am good! I think I have it though.
