at the of april Central Virginia 4 Wheeler Assoc. is planning a one day ride, if you mind red Virginia clay don't show up, if you truck deosn't have an agressive mud tire stay home. just kidding you are welcome to come and watch. we are having a lunch and then we will plan on slinging some dirt, who knows somebody may even go wheels up. you can watch most spots from a stock 4x4 or if you would like to join in we are going to put up a bounty for the truck that crosses a couple holes we the fastest if they can cross them at all, if not who can get the furthest

Look like April 29th, it will be $10 per driver and $5 per person for food. I will have to get back as to a start time normally we start about 12:00, it's out side of Altavista Va. you would come 460 west to 24 west and 29 south. its a coulpe hour drive. I would meet you and bring you from town to the wheeling grounds (about 12 miles out of town) if you want to stay the night you would be welcome to camp or there's a Holiday Inn and a Comfort Suits in town. bring all who will come. we have winches to recover anything you can get into. this is not a hug peice of land but there will be plenty to do and see. we are a bunch of good ol boys that like to play.

Sounds like fun. I would probibly day trip. Some of the other usual suspects would likely camp.

I got your message and responded. I am still in. A few of us in the Richmond area should be there.

If we keep the thread active then more people will show up.

great we're looking forward to this day (Central Virginia 4 Wheelers Assoc.).

I can't make it. I just had shoulder surgery and can't drive for crap.

if you would like to come along and watch your welcome to do so. also as a reminder this is open to any truck (I don't mind watching the off breeds try and follow the Fords, just kidding) we have all types and stiles wheeling with us we even have a suburban with 42's wheeling with us. you never know what you may see show up here.

everyone that didn't make it missed a good time, hope to see you next time.

I heard it was a great trip. I am sorry I missed it.

hey guys, new to the site. Know any trails around here? I just moved to Newport news and I have a 2003 ranger super cab. stock. just looking for some trails or mud.......any ideas? email me...number1zeros@hotmail.com

The guys in the central Va 4-wheel drive assoc. have great trails and are a great bunch to wheel with.

The outer banks is great for beach wheeling.

Crozet is all you can want in rock crawling.

Camping and expedition type wheeling on rocky trails, George Washington National Forest.

All legal.

Not many if any legal places in Hamptonroads. Lots of weekend stuff though. Be careful with mud holes around here as well. They can be deep:eek:

thanks
