I want to know from as many people as possible. I have a 1997 SOHC 2dr, and want to buy a cat-back system. Where did you get yours and how much did you pay for it? This will help all of us looking to do the same thing.

I remember seeing a post here within the last 2 weeks about a website having a clearance sale on the catback system. I checked it out and from what I can remember, it was a close-out on one brand, it was for the newer models, and was only $49...yes, $49. Unfortunately, it will not fit my model. You may want to take a few minutes and do a search for it and save some BIG money. They were just discontinuing that year model range.

94 4dr XLT...

Dynomax 'RaceMagnum' part#17217 $159
2.5" mandrel bent pipe. $50
[Got it at Master Muffler]

Restored steady pulling power that had been gradually decreasing over the last year or so. So is about the same, but I was told it will get slightly louder over time?

I also run a K&N filter with open airbox.

I just purchased and received a Dynomax Cat back exhaust system from www.roadstore.com for the unbelievable price of $49.99 + s.h. I was not sure of this deal I had heard about here in this news group until I ordered it myself. It says it is only for 95-96 w/ 4.0L. I believe only the OHV not the SOHC. I received it within 7 days of ordering it and put it in in less than 2hrs. This included jacking the vehicle up, putting on jack stands, removing pass. side shock bottom mount, unbolting exhaust from cat., removing old and reinstalling new. I almost took it to exhaust shop to have it done but decided to give it a try. It has a nice sound with a
little rumble more than the stock. As far as performance, without a dyno test before and after it is hard to tell. It does feel a little more responsive. Heck, with this price, who cares. If interested go to their
web site and look under specials. Supplies are limited since they are closing out this line of product, hence the cheap price. It even came with a welded on stainless exhaust tip. Next mod will be a KKM air induction kit. Happy motoring.
