off of damneck rd is an awesome place when it's good and wet. the last time that i went i had my x coated top to bottom, front to back

Same here, I like that place too. It's dry as S**T right now though...I was hoping we'd get a good rain this weekend. I did my SOA last week and I really wanted to get out and give it a go! I guess I'll just have to wait.....

When I go down there it will be with a winch and a front locker. I realy want to hit the trails but my truck has been throughing fits and I just got it back to almost normal again so I need a little road time before I trust her again.

Well I finaly made the leap and ordered my Aussie locker for the front. Maybe it will go out today, though not likely, and I can think about the install this weekend.

No got the 3.73LS. I plan to rebuild that and add an extra friction plate in each side to make it tighter. Also working on getting a superwinch X9 9000lb winch. Don't know when I'll be able to put it on though if I even get it. Might install the locker this weekend.

Hey everyone, I am finally just getting interested into offroading. I drive a 2001 explorer and reside in Midlothian (southside of Richmond). Hopefully I can meet up with some people and go four wheeling and get help on working on my explorer. I have only seen two possible members in Midlothian but hopefully there are more in this area

Hey man, Remember when you brought your truck to ETA with a nail in your tire? I was the one that worked on it. There is a few of us locals that like to wheel. Right now I am swapping to 4wd and getting the front rcd coilover kit so I will be down for a little bit but will be back in action soon enough.

Well got my locker installed. I hope I did it right. It would be nice if we had some property we could play on. My winch will be here tomorrow I think and I am having a cable made to replace the old one. I need to pick up a front receiver so I can mount the winch. I also need the mounting plate for the winch. Anybody know where I can get those for a good price? Portsmouth trailer wants 145 for the receiver! I've seen them online for 109.
