Where can I buy a cat in California?

I'm looking for a not too expensive catalyst but in California I cant find a standard one. The cheapest I've seen is magna flow for 933 is there any cheaper one that's California compliant?

I was gonna say you can get cat converters on Amazon, Ebay or Summit racing
Instead of paying $933 for them, here's what we mechanics do: buy small universal ones and have them welded in.... you are talking like $80 for the cat and $80 for welding......................plus get your old cats back...they are worth $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
