BTw welcome to the site.
Here is how to TT http://www.swanrivercustoms.com/mountaineer/suspension_lift/
the rest use the search function.

ahh you beat me to it froader

4wd...

plus if i get a body lift, any major changes, like brake cables and so on?

nope...(correct me if im wrong)...im almost 100% sure the only thing that needs to be "lengtend is the steering shaft(the adapter is in the kit).

i have heard that the ground needs to be lengtend under the door

well thats nothing major... i've heard the body lifts for the rangers can be used for explorers?

ANd the brackets. I had to make my rear brackets. Other then that, be prepared to swap your hub bearing assemblies and halh shafts. mine went after 6 months. As far as brake lines, you dont need anything. You will need to trim your lower trim pieces ( and possibly pound the metal back ) depending on the tire you run. All of mine have been "taken" off, including the front valance. ( thanks to a stepo grade i had to back down.) I did use longer grounding straps in a few places, but they needed to be done.

^^most of what you said is all trimming due to tires......why did you have to replace the hub berring asemblies...did you re-gear?

my hubs have 141k on em with 5k of that with the 15x10 rims that have a 3.75bs and -19mm offset. your hubs will tell you if they need replaced.

i run a 2 inch body lift (same kit, just 2 inches) with a tt and shackels. just had to do some minor trimming at the rear of the front venderwell to ge them to fit. 33x12.5x15 BFG all terrains.

also with a 2 inch body lift, you dont have to worry aobut cables and wiring not reaching and such. just a thought. makes for a much easier install

on my install all the cables were fine and everything had enough room to stretch. even the ground is fine. The only issue we ran into, well two issues, was there was a bump on the steering arm we had to grind off...took about 2 minutes, so we could fit the steering extension on. The second was bending up the radiotor mounts to drop the rad. With the bigger off set rims....i had to do a lot of trimming.

My hubs basically blew out. I am alittle rough with the truck. I had bearing parts all over the road. It was kinda funny actually
