where can I get a stripe kit?

It sems like everyone is taking the stripes off their x. But I will be painting my son's '92 Eddie and would like to replace the stripe kit. Does anyone make aftermarket stuff? Found some 3M tape that is very close and will use that as last choice. Had to sit down after I found out what Ford is getting for a full kit, OUCH! TIA

The 3M tape you speak of should work fine. Follow it up with clear coat and that sucker shouldn't come off.
