Hi Kial,
Any performance shop can do this for you. You just have to have enough money to spend on it. Dead Link Removed There are a few other things you can do to give you better breathing, before you start going into the engine. Also if you haven't done anything to the exhust side, everything you do to the intake won't mean much. Why don't you tell us what you've done to your intake and exhust first, then we might be able to help you with the next step.

Hey Ray,
thanks for the reply Dead Link Removed Ok what I have done to my engine and plan to do in the near furture. I have the KKM Induction kit on, no headers, I want to get Jacobs Wires and either Bosch or Spitfire plugs. Now to my exhaust. I have 2 brand new free-flo cats 2 1/2in. piping to a flowmaster 3 chamber (center in and center out) then 2 1/2 piping to a cutom built Y and from there 2 1/4 inch piping to make a dual rear exhaust with 2 3/4 or 3 inch tips, I dont remember there size. I just bought a 66MM BBK throttle body and wanted to open up my intake somehow but no one ( I live in southern california, southern orange county) tells me they will, or tells me they can hone/port my intake manifold. One guy said he could open up the hole around where the throttle body connects to the intake manifold, but will this be a waste of my money to get just that done, or worth it? Or should I somehow find a Auto Machine shop, and belive me I have looked, that will port the whole thing. Need some help as you can see. Also I am contemplating a 70mm MAS from vanirtech., 200 bux, good idea or bad idea? Would I be getting my moneys worth out of the mass air sensor? Thanks Ray...

On the site look up JAY. Hes the guy you want to talk to. I talked to him at truckhaven and he has done everything you can think of to the engine. He had his engine dynoed at 305hp. He port and polished and put on an aggressive cam. Theres 2 made for the 4.0. From what he told me the MAF isnt really worth the moneyy He's running his stock MAF on his rig. Like every performance person you try and do everything to the outside of the engine before you go to the inside. The throttle body is going to give you quicker response, not to sure on the Hp though. I would go with headers before doing the MAF. If you plan on portin NOS or running a supercharger go with at least a 75mm MAF. For me i think the 73mm is a happy medium so if you later choose to or just plan to keep it stock.

Kial,
Go out and get a set of headers on before you do anything else. You have already taken care of the rest of the exhust. A larger MAF and throttle body are really for getting used in conjunction with either running NOS or a turbo/supercharger. Yes a larger throttle body will give you a better responce, but doesn't really take effect unless you have something to stuff that air into it, like a turbe or supercharger. If then you decide you want to port your heads, go for it, but I would not do it if you haven't already done everything else first. Just remember, speed costs. One more thing. You ought to see if you can get into an auto shop class at school. They can teach you alot.
