Where do I find a new 5th shock??

The fifth shock (axle damper) on my 1996 Explorer Limited is shot. I'm wanting to replace it, however I'm having a difficult time finding the part. Autozone didn't know what I was talking about. I've also checked with CarQuest, and a few others. Is there another name for this part? Is there a part number? Should I just go to a Ford Dealership for it??

Any help would be appreciated.

parts stores should be able to find it as an axle dampner. If not I know shockwarehouse.com has them (site vendor)

i got mine at the dealership, but i am sure there are other ways,, ,

Advanced Auto has them as steering stabilizer.

I could be mistaken, but I do believe the Haynes manual says it's the same shock as the other 2 rear shocks. I almost picked one up when I changed my 2 rear shocks but decided to save a few $.

It's not the same shock, the 2 rear shocks are a lot longer, and have different mounts on the top.

I got mine from NAPA. 50 bucks. It is under axle damper or steering damper shock. I cant remember.
