I have been trying to track down the cause of codes 172, 176 on my Ex for 4 years. :hammer:

From the search function I have learned that it could be a bad FPR. I would like to look for gas in the FPR vacuum line but dont know where to look.

Your expert advice is greatly appreciated! TYVM

LOL.

I now have it tie strapped! Each end, 1 at the vacuum tree and a pair at the FPR (Each side of the rubber grommet on FPR). I think all that ATF from the former bad tranny modulator causes them to get loose.

humm cant say mines a 5 speed manual tranny to much vacuum ?? to little ??? in the intake

Mines an automatic, I've been (F)ixing (O)r (R)epairing it (D)aily for years. LOL :)
