where is the speedometer sensor on my sport trac!

Well to make things clear as mud the PC/ED manual refers to these same sensor callout numbers by yet another name "OSS/VSS/TCSS (7F293/7M101/7H103)". So there IS a TCSS (Transfer Case Speed Sensor) referred to in the PC/ED as being the 7H103.

We obviously need someone more familiar with this than I am !!

The Gen1 Sport Tracs we're dealing with here is the B4405E. The Gen3 Explorer is also the B4405E or at least that's what's shown in my 2002 Parts Manual.

i planned to have my mechanic buddy see if he had the right computing device to reprogram it but he was busy today so i will have to wait until tuesday. thanks again fro all the great info fellas, have a great weekend.
