didn't get much done today as I spent the better part of the day cleaning and washing the truck and by the time i finished it started raining. Ranger, u bring up a good point, but fortunately for me i have both leaking!! (how i got this lucky i dunno lol) better yet, i already took the diff out to reseal it because it was leaking and it was good for a week until it started leaking again  not only that, my TC is leaking too (which was rebuilt two years ago by jasper) so i figure im going to work my way front to back lol
- its not the seal/gasket that was leaking on the diff for me, the problem is for some reason the axle build pressure and vents thru the vent tube on the axle tube. which is what it is meant to do but it blows out all the fluid, ford sometime made a recall thing where they make a new designed part. the vent tube is on the front diff cover and bas a baffle before the vent tube. so check and see if it is coming out of the vent tube.
- i heard that jasper only slaps parts together to make it pass the minimal warrenty they offer havent heard too many good things about japser lol
so if your power steering fluid level isnt dropping, check your front diff fluid level, hate to see u burn up your front axle
