Where to buy ABS sensor

What did you pay for your front ABS sensor, and where did you get it? I have been quoted prices of $120-$145 from the dealer and part store in my area. This sounds way too high. What do you think? FYI.. 2000 XLS AWD/4X4, 4.0 OHV, if that matters. Thanks.

front or rear? Rear should be less then 20 bucks:rolleyes:

Just checked at napa, the rear is 10 bucks :rolleyes:
 












Ahh makes sense now front will be pricey, Maybe some one has used one from a SAS swap you could pick up cheap.
 






That's beacuse you have to buy the front hub assy to get it. It figures. I put a new hub on mine three weeks ago but I did not keep the sensor.

Try calling your junkyards, i got one today for 30 bucks.
 






i have an extra front hub ...mechanice replaced it trying to troubleshoot a wheel wobble problem that turned out to be the tires .nothing wrong with the hub or the sensor.off a 2000 ex sport 4by4.......85.00 plus shipping if you want it.i paid about 180.00 for a new one.......my email"joe3857@aol.com"put explorer hub in the header if you contact me ,thanks
