Where to Buy an Injector?

Help....

I am looking for a place to buy an Injector......
1997 Explorer Sport, 4.0L OHV Engine, 8th vin: "X"
The Injector is RED.....

Anybody know where a good place on-line to go for them, that is reasonablaly priced?

BTW Stay away from Auction Frontier on E-bay....

Are you replacing just that one injector with a new one? I don't think it makes sense to replace just one brand new if you're not doing the others too, I'd just get a used one from a junkyard.

When they cost anywhere from $50 to $75 each.... and I can barley afford 1, let alone 6.... I am only going to replace one.....

Look at the pix...

Color codes will get you in trouble "Red Top" injectors are 30lbs. I'm sure you are not running 30's from the factory.

Best to replace all as mentioned, but I usually have "orphans".
 






I have attached a photo of my Injector.
The newer injectors are different then what you mention as a "red top"....
 






Yes, they are different, that is why I brought it up.

How long is it, 2.5" or 2"?

Mustang yellows are all over eBay, if it is 2.5" long (I believe it is), that may be the way to go.
