Ok, now I have a water leak on the drivers side. It's water not coolant, so I know it's not the heater core. Also passenger side is dry. The drivers side fllor board is soaked. Any idea's or suggestion as to where it may be comming from.

Thanks:(

water leak

The only thing that generates water under the hood is the AC system. If your leak is truly water, and not coolant, your AC system is doing it or you have an external leak letting in rain, carwash water, etc.

It has to be rain as I haven't used the AC this year. Any suggestions as to where to look for leaks.

leak

pull the carpet back and see if you can trace the path of the water. Could be the firewall, cowling, or even the passengers side with the water dripping down to the driver's side. Use a strong flashlight to search with! Lokk under the truck, uder the hood at the firewall, and everywher in the footwells you can pull carpet back from. Don't know if there are any likely suspects for this problem with the EX.

Thanks I'll be checking this afternoon, may even turn the hose on the X and see if it will leak.:)

take the access panel out for hte cowl, I bet its pugged with crap, My b2 bad a similar problem, I cleaned all the **** out, and made sure the drian holes were open, then look to se if there are any rust holes in it, and maybe plug them up with some silicon

Opened access panel on drivers side, found small hole about 6" up from the opening. Appears that a previous owner had tried to drill ahole through the fire wall and wound up in this cowl area. They had put some putty in the hole and I guess over time it worked it way loose or just deteriated.

I put some new silicone in the hole, I think, you can't really see it where it's located. You can only feel the hole with the tip of your finger. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if the silcone works.

Can't get it from below, under the dash area, as I can't see it either. Its to high up. Real pain in the A--.
