I went to Kragen today and bought a new Heavy duty three-prong flasher for my turn signal... Someone told me it was underneath my light switch, so i went on a little adventure underneath my steering wheel thing and found a little yellow box that Was making all the noise when it flashed. So i figured this was it, I Took it out and showed the guy at Kragen. He laughed at me and said it was just the RELAY for the flasher.. He said the actuall flasher was underneath there SOMEWHERE... Well thats the damn problem.. I bought a heavy duty three prong flasher and I CANT FIND WHERE TO REPLACE IT FOR THE LIFE of me... Someone if you know please help me... THANK YOU!

I dont know if my 91 is the same design as the 95 but my turn signal flasher is on top of the fuse pannel surrounded by a grey plastic protector. If yours is the same you pull the lever and the fuse pannel will drop down from under the dash. Then you reach up on top of the pannel and pop out the flasher. Hope this helps.

The fuse box on the 95+ is on the side of the dash, in the door jamb. The flasher is most likely up under the dash somewhere, just kinda poka around under there. You also might want to pick up a Chilton's manual, it's gotta be listed in there.

turn signals dont work

The turn signals on my 98 sport went out quite a while ago. I have replaced what I though was the flasher(the little yellow box you mentioned) several times, but the signals and hazards have never worked more than intermittantly since then. I also replaced the multifunction switch in the steering column, as I was getting some funny readings on the tester. Still no dice. Any ideas on the flasher and did you ever find the "real flasher"? Thanks.

P.S. This is my first post after looking at the site for awhile, glad to be here.

do a search on the site, i remember reading a thread about this a long time ago.

and wreck- welcome man
