Where's the Camshaft Position Sensor?

I've got the Upper Intake off and I thought the sensor was right underneath. But I don't see anything that looks like what's described in the Hayne's manual. This is from a 98 4.0 OHV engine:

Section pointed you in the right area. Basically where a distributor would go there is a black plastic cover. Inside of that cap is the hall effect sensor which serves to monitor the camshaft position. Beneath the cap is the oil drive body. It will essentially apper to be the shaft of a distributor with no top. Either the bearings in the drive body or the sensor could prove to cause a variety of problems. A picture of the parts is below. As well as a link to the thread where we discussed this all quite a bit as I hunted my issues down.

I have a 97 ext 5.0 that I had to replace that part about 3 months ago, it was almost in the center at the front, inside a cap.
