Where's the power steering fluid go???

So I went to check the power steering fluid level in my wife's 2017 Lincoln MKZ but could not find it so I went to my 2016 Ford Explorer and could not find it there either. Am I going nuts here??? Where did it go???

I believe both of them have electric power steering.

Now that you know that you should also know if battery voltage goes down or an alternator fails you're going to have seriously reduced power steering and steering a bunch with the alternator light on will drain what's left of the battery sooner. Also at somepoint a power steering sensor will need replacing in your vehicles life.

Don't forget to check the blinker fluid while you're there.

No, but I just topped off the sunroof fluid.
