Which actuator to control which vent location

Good day doing the research I have found two actuator on the ford explorer 2015 -

1. Under the passenger side not a hard fix
2. under the drivers dash/ instrument cluster complete PITA!

I have read from many its one or the other - but I am trying to figure out which is it????

Can I take it to autozone or orielly and have them do a scan?

Thanks in advance wife is crawling all over me to fix it lol!!!
