Which ATF?

Which ATF are people using in the AL4D auto transmission and transfer case successfully? I did a search and found that some folks say Mercon V some say to avoid it. In TSB 06-14-04, Ford says Mercon V in the A4LD, so it must be what I should use, but I just want to make sure before I hurt the ol' X. Actually, the TSB says Mercon, Mercon V or Dual Useage fluids labled Mercon / Mercon V. Are folks using Motorcraft or other brands? The TSB does not mention what to use in the transfer case at all. Thanks for any help; I just picked up the 91 X and have changed all the fluids, except for the trans and transfer case cause I can't figure out what to use.

Mercon V is what I put in my 93 when I had it and it is what's recommended. I have no trouble or concerns telling you to use the same.
