not true, for sound.. flowmaster's, for power? magnaflow. this is because flowmaster mufflers are chambered, and magnaflow are straigh throughs.. so it depends on what you want bud. but heres my magnaflow sound, and i wouldnt trade it for anything.
not in terms of performance, magnaflow is up there with borla + Corsa in terms of flow. Flow masters sound better, but dont give as much performance. straight through mufflers > Chambered muff's.
I myself like the sound of Magnaflows better thats my opinion... but flowmaster has had more advertisement so the first thing a person thinks about when it comes to exhaust is flowmaster... The only flowmaster that I like is the single chamber w/dumps...

As most said- it's about preference. They all tear apart other's products to see what they do, what they can do better, so it's a constant game of leapfrog.
Like most mods (and I'm guilty of it too) chances are, whatever someone has purchased, is what they will say is the best- it's internal validation...
i had those for a long time in mine, but i had to swap bag over to the stockers when i put the billet pieces infront of them, just didnt get enough light through the bars. great light dispersment hu?
